Moroccan Nomad Linear Wool Pillow | 14″ × 24″

This distinctive lumbar pillow is crafted from fragments of a vintage Moroccan haik textile—an antique wool garment woven with linear patterns originally worn by nomads across North Africa. Our artisans repurpose each piece in our Marrakesh studio, cutting and sewing the fabric into 14″ × 24″ cushions that retain the texture and character of the original cloth. The front of the pillow is 100% wool, showcasing the haik’s subtle stripes, while the back is made from a strong hemp/cotton blend that adds structure and durability. A polished brass zipper allows you to remove or add an insert with ease, and the long lumbar shape makes it ideal for layering on sofas, benches or beds. Because every pillow is made from a different section of the vintage textile, no two are alike; expect slight variations in pattern and minor imperfections that speak to the fabric’s history. We’ve photographed these pillows in natural light with minimal editing to show their true colors . To care for yours, spot clean the wool front with a mild detergent and allow it to air dry completely. Note that inserts are sold separately—select a 16″ × 26″ insert or repurpose old linens for eco‑friendly stuffing. Add this piece to your collection for a touch of Moroccan heritage and artisanal craftsmanship in your home.
